... by adding a waypoint within your route

This option inserts a waypoint within a route in order to change its course. You can

either create a new waypoint for this purpose or use a waypoint that already exists in

the system.

1. Move the cursor over the appropriate leg of the route.

2. Press INSERT WAYPOINT.

3. Stretch the leg of the route and select either:

• An existing waypoint for inclusion in your route. The soft key USE THIS WAY-

POINT is displayed or:

• The position for a new waypoint. The soft key PLACE WAYPOINT is displayed.

4. Press PLACE WAYPOINT or USE THIS WAYPOINT.

The new leg is incorporated into the route. The dashed line changes to a solid line

and the route index re-numbers accordingly.

... by adding a waypoint(s) to the end of your route

1. Select the appropriate route for editing via the REVIEW AND EDIT ROUTES soft key

or select the route on screen and then press REVIEW AND EDIT THIS ROUTE.

2. Press AMEND ROUTE COURSE.

Your cursor is joined to the last waypoint in the route with a dashed line.

3. Either drag the cursor to select:
