To canceltheMOB, press and hold the MARK keyfor2seconds.
Note:The MOBprocedure can alsobeinitiated orcancelledremotelyif the
appropriate SeaTalkmessageisreceivedby the Pathfinder Radar.
4.5 Cursor Echo
Inacombinedradar/chartdisplay, or in a system withanychartdisplay
connectedviaSeatalk,youcansetthedisplaytoenablecursortransfer.Cursor
echo(accessedfromtheSetUpMenu)enablesyoutodisplayachartcursoron
theradarpicture,or a radar cursoron the chartpicture(youcannotdisplaya
remoteradarcursorin a radar window, nor a remote chartcursorin a chart
window).
Thefollowingoptionsare provided:
RadarCursorIn:displaysthe cursorfromanotherradaronthechartdis-
playor chart window(default- OFF).
ChartCursorIn:displaysthe cursor fromanotherchartplotteronthe
radardisplayor radar window(default- OFF).
Note:The remote displaymust have SeaTalkCursorOut enabled.
Raymarinerecommendthat in multi-displaysystems,you donotenableCur-
sorOuton more than two displays.If multipledisplayshavecursorout en-
abled,the cursorswill notbe displayedsimultaneously,butwillflashon/off.
SeaTalkCursor Out: enablestheoutput, onto SeaTalk,of thedisplay’s
owncursor(default-OFF).
CursorEchoLocal:echoesthecursorpositionbetweenopenwindowson
thesame display(default- ON).
Whentheappropriateoptionisswitchedon,thedisplayshowsitsown cursor,
plusthecursoroftheotherdisplay(s)withappropriatecursortext(RDR orCHT)
toindicate itsorigin.Thismeans thatyoucouldmovethe cursoroveratarget
ontheradardisplay,andchecktheidentityofthetargetbylookingattheradar
cursorpositionon the chartplotter.
