Stop Follow or Stop

2. Pressthe GOTO WAYPOINT softkey.
Navigationtotheselectedwaypointbegins.ThesoftkeySTOP GOTO is dis-
played.
3. To returnto the defaultsoftkeydisplay,movethe cursor awayfromthe
waypointorpressENTER or CLEAR.
➤ To navigatedirectlyto thecursorposition:
1. Usethetrackpadtopositionthe cursoras required.
2. Pressthe GOTO defaultsoft key, followed byGOTO CURSOR.
Ifnavigation is currentlyin progressyou are warned “Alreadyfollowing
route.Cancelrouteand goto cursor?”.
To cancelthe GOTO CURSOR operation, press NO.
To continuewith the GOTO CURSOR operation(and stop the currentGOTO
ROUTE), pressYES.
Thechartplotter placesa temporarywaypointas the targetand startsto
navigatetowardsit. The waypointisshown as a squarewithacircleand
dotinthecentre,and is connectedtothevessel’s startingpositionwitha
dashedline.
Thesoftkey STOP GOTO is displayed.
3. To returnto the defaultsoftkeydisplay,movethe cursor awayfromthe
waypointorpressENTER or CLEAR.

➤ To stopfollowingthe routeortarget point
either:
1. Ifnecessary,presstheGOTO softkey,then presstheSTOP GOTO/FOLLOW
softkey.
Or:
1. Movethecursorover any waypointorleginthe currentroute,then press
the STOP GOTO/FOLLOW softkey.
Thedottedlinefromyourvesseltothetargetwaypointdisappears.
IfyoustoppedaGOTO WAYPOINT orCURSOR,toremove thetarget pointfrom
thescreen,movethe cursor overthetarget point thenpressthe CLEAR GOTO
soft key.
Ifyou subsequentlyuse the FOLLOW ROUTE softkey to restartnavigation,the
routeis followedfromthepointatwhichitwasstopped.Thisisindicatedbya
squarearoundthetarget waypoint.If you want to followfromanother
waypointyou can initiate the follow thenuse the WAYPOINT ADVANCE or
FOLLOW FROM HERE soft key to step throughthe route.
