Clearing the Current
Track
PressENTER to returnto the tracksoftkeys.
2. Pressthe TRACK OFF ON softkeytotoggle trackson.
Your vesselstrailwillbe displayedon-screen,with a linejoiningthe
pointsattheselectedinterval.
Clearing the Current Track
Youcanclearthe currenttrackfromthescreen.WhenyouselectCLEAR
TRACK,ifthecurrenttrackhasnotbeensaved,youhavetheoptionofsavingit.
➤ To clearthe currenttrack:
1. Pressthe CLEAR TRACK softkey.
2. Ifthetrack has not beensaved the SAVE TRACK softkeysaredisplayed.
To clearthetrackwithoutsavingitintheTrack List, pressNO.
To save thetrack in thelist,press YES.The Nametracksoftkeys aredis-
playedandyoushouldcontinueasdescribedinthefollowingsection,Sav-
ingandNaming a Track.
PressCLEAR to abort theClearTrack operation.
Thecurrent trackis clearedfrom thescreenandthedefaultsoft keysare
displayed.
Managing Tracks
Althoughitiseasytosetupatrack,andthistrackisretainedevenifyouswitch
offyourdisplay, you can storeanumberofdifferent tracksso thatyoucan
reviewthematalaterdate.Thissectionexplainshowtoperformthefollowing
tasks:
• SaveandNameatrack.
• Name,Erase and Show an existingtrack.
Saving and Naming a Track
Youcansaveup to5 named tracksin the Track List. Thesetrackscan be re-
displayedatalaterdate.
➤ To saveandname thecurrenttrack:
1. PresstheMORE softkeyfollowedbytheTRACK LIST softkey.Thetracklist
pop-upand associatedsoftkeysare displayed.
2. Thenextavailableentryonthetracklist is highlighted.
(Ifrequired,you can use the trackpad to selectanother positionin the list;
thiscan be a blankslot, oran existingtrack thatyou no longerrequire).
