7.4 Radar Set Up Parameters
The RADAR SET UP option allows you to set up the radar according to your
system configuration and your personal preferences.
Note:Some parameters can onlybechangedif you are using the Masterdis-
play(thatis,thedisplaytowhichthe scannerisconnected).
The following table lists the Radar Set Up parameters and their options,
shows the factory default setting, and provides a space for you to make a
note of your new default setting. Each parameter is described in the fol-
lowing subsections.
EBL Display
The mode of the bearing data displayed for Electronic Bearing Lines
(EBLs). The bearing information can be displayed in either of two forms:
• Relative: Thebearingrelativeto your vessel’s heading.
• Mag/True:The actualbearingin eitherdegrees magneticordegreestrue.
Thisoptionisonlyavailable ifyou are obtainingdata from a compass.
Ifyou choosethismode,the selection youmade for BearingMode
determines whether°M or °T is displayedin the EBLdata boxes.The
currentunits are shown for the headingvaluein thestatusbar at thetop
ofthescreen.
